Small Group Training

Small group field player training is universally considered the most effective way to train a soccer player with a focus on first touch and ball skills. We provide high-quality training sessions that challenge players technically and physically. Training sessions are designed to maximize touches on the ball in a faced paced training environment. Developing a player's first touch and ball skills gives them the confidence to make the right decisions under pressure Training in small groups creates a game-like environment and better prepares the players to perform with confidence in a competitive match in a safe, fast-paced, and challenging environment. Group sizes range from 4 to 8 players which also provides plenty of individual instruction from the coach running the season.

SKILLS ACADEMY

First Touch

First touch is arguably the most important skill in soccer, yet often it is the most neglected. This essential skill ultimately determines a player's success in the game. Improve your first touch and learn how to think one step ahead of the game.

TEAM ACADEMY

Build Your Dream Team

What is team training? It is the effective method of showing how to play any given formation that your coach would like to play.

The process starts with understanding the responsibilites of the defenders, midfielders, and forwards and how they play together. Learning what to do both on and off the ball and incorporating the keeper through to the forwards. As well as fully understanding how the ball dictates how everything in the game works.

IN A WORD FANTASTIC!

"My son Ross attended the academy over the winter session, with myself observing. I truly believe that every player, regardless of age, skill or position can benefit from this training experience.

Every practice session was well planned and very “touch” intensive, meaning all the drills were focused, fast, and a great opportunity to learn how to really handle the ball and think like a striker! The staff was excellent. Always gentle, but never soft on the kids; they always expected them to work hard to improve.

I will continue to recommend this program to all soccer fanatics that I come in contact with."

THE COACHING STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING

"Two of my sons attended the finishing academy annually for several years and loved it. The impact was evident as both played high-level club and regional soccer were full-time starters and went on to achieve various accolades for their high school programs. I believe the additional coaching they received at the RESA was a contributing factor to their achievements.

Attention to detail and technique is one of the main reasons we kept going back. Rather than just run players through drills and exercises he and the staff always took the time to point out the slight adjustments they needed to make to get the results they needed.

We tried other camps, some run by locally well-known former high-level players and it always seemed to be more about who was running the camp and not as much about the attention to detail. "
